Tirreno-Adriatico: Jasper Philipsen wins second stage, Juan Ayuso still in blue
The second stage of Tirreno-Adriatico 2024, a 198-kilometer-long time trial starting in Camaiore and finishing in Follonica, was won by Belgian Jasper Philipsen, who beat compatriot Tim Merier and Frenchman Alex Zingle in a sprint. Completing the top 5 were Amaury Capiot and Casper van Uden.
Closing out the top 10: Soren Warenskjold, Giovanni Lonardi, Ethan Vernon, Jonathan Milan and Fabian Lienhard. As for the overall standings, however, Juan Ayuso, who è won the opening stage, is confirmed in the blue jersey.
