Paulo Dybala, Barcelona scares Roma.
The future of Paulo Dybala
According to reports in the popular Catalan newspaper 'Sport' Paulo Dybala has reportedly been offered to Barcelona ahead of next season. The Argentine fantasist, an old darling of the Blaugrana, has a €12 million termination clause for foreign teams. Despite some offers from the Premier League, it seems Dybala’s priority is to play in Spain.
West Ham in England has è shown interest in acquiring him because of his not high clause, while Atletico Madrid has also shown interest in his situation. The coming months will be crucial for the player’s future, although Roma wishes to retain Dybala by increasing his salary. Both Dybala and his entourage seem willing to listen to possible offers from abroad.
Barcelona sporting director has already put Dybala in his sights, taking advantage of the uncertainty over his future with Roma, especially in case the Giallorossi team does not qualify for the Champions League and does not renew his contract. The negotiations è also made possible by the fact that Xavi, previously opposed to Dybala’s transfer considering him "overrated and not necessary for the team’s needs", will no longer be the Barcelona coach next season.
