Flavio Cobolli&#39s adventure at the Indian Wells Masters 1000 ends immediately. On court 7 of the 'Bnp Paribas Open', in fact, the Roman tennis player had to surrender to the Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena, number 64 in the world rankings, who won in two sets, with a double 6-4 after an hour and forty minutes of play.

Cobolli lost his serve in the fifth game (2-3), but reacted immediately bringing the partial back to even; (3-3). However, on 4-4 Carballes Baena places a new and decisive break and then closes on 6-4. In the second set the Spaniard took off and flew 5-2 and serve. Here the Italian has a nice reaction of pride, which, however, is not enough to avoid defeat.

“For two days I was immobile, I had a fever of 39" Cobolli admitted at the end of the match. The Italian has to postpone his appointment with his first win in a Masters 100, menre Carballes Baena will face fourth seed Daniil Medvedev in the second round.
