F1 Australian GP, Leclerc and Sainz in chorus: ‘Good condition’
There'è a lot of confidence in the Cavallino team for the weekend in Melbourne
After two GPs chasing, the time may have come in Melbourne for the first overtaking attempt. The Ferrari seen in free practice (Leclerc’s best time in the second session) bodes well for both Saturday’s qualifying and Sunday’s race. There'è confidence in the team, given also the problems had by Verstappen, who appeared less dominant than usual.
"We are in a good position compared to the first two races but the Red Bulls were not pushing for real yet, so we have to wait to see their real potential. The pace looks good, nice to start Friday like this,", Leclerc’s words to Sky Sports. A quip also about qualifying: "We might have a good chanceà", the Monegasque’s closing remark.
Also very satisfied is Sainz who, in record time, è returned to the track driving the Rossa. The surgery (appendix) still affects him but the Spaniard è appeared already in great shape (third time in the second free practice): "I feel pretty good, I am not 100% but the day è went well. I hope to be even faster in qualifying and be able to fight for pole position".
