Milan, Giorgio Furlani takes Rafael Leao off the market
The Portuguese has a termination clause of 175 million euros
AC Milan soccer market: Leao è undoubtedly, one of the most desired players in Europe. The Portuguese star has admirers everywhere but, at the moment, he seems determined to make his mark with the Milan shirt. There'è a pass to the next Champions League to conquer and, above all, a Europa League to win. In short, Leao is definitely not thinking about what will be his near future.
Instead, Furlani, managing director of the Rossoneri club, is thinking about it.
He has few doubts about Leao’s future: "Rafa has a 175 million rescission clause but before that he has the desire to stay at Milan. He is very well here, he should be the one to ask us that he wants to go but he really does not want to. Long live Leao at AC Milan", his clear words in a long interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.
Less determined when asked about the future of Theo Hernandez and Maignan, two other Rossoneri top players at the center of a thousand market rumors: "They have a contract until June 2026. There is talk of selling or buying but often it is the players who decide their future. Theo and Mike are two champions, we hope they will stay with us as long as possible and still make a difference", his closing remark.
