One-year agreement with the class of ’97 playmaker

A new point guard with NBA experience arrives in Frank Vitucci’s court: the Happy Casa Brindisi, in fact, announced on Thursday that it has reached an agreement (valid for one season) with Ky Bowman, seen in the 2019/20 season with the Golden State Warriors’ jersey.

Born in 1997 and raised at Boston College, Bowman was named to the ACC All-Freshman Team in 2017 and Second-Team All ACC in 2019, later playing in the G-League and NBA. Rising to prominence with the Golden State Warriors, in the 2019/20 season he averaged 7.4 points, 2.9 assists and 2.7 rebounds in 45 total appearances including 12 in the base quintet. His NBA career high is 24 points set in November 2019 against the Thunder; in the NCAA his best recorded performance is 30 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists in a game against Duke.

Santa Cruz Warriors, Agua Caliente Clippers and Austin Spurs his last stops in the G-League. Brindisi’s will be his first experience away from North America.
