Massimo Eccheli wants to return to Perugia
Sunday’s game-4 between Monza and Perugia (1-2 the series)
On Sunday, April 28, the Scudetto question can be definitively decided as far as the Italian men’s top championship is concerned: strong with 2-1 in the series, Sir Susa Vim Perugia can close the accounts, but to do so it will have to beat MINT Vero Volley Monza away. An eventuality that the coach of the Brianzoli, Massimo Eccheli, does not want to consider.
"We are behind in the series but we are still alive and determined to fight with all our might,” Eccheli told the official channels of MINT Vero Volley Monza during the match presentation. The’Opiquad Arena and our fans will give us additional energy to face this fourth battle" he added.
So far, the court factor è has always been respected: Perugia won game-1 and game-3 at home (27-25, 25-18, 23-25, 25-23 the opening match, 25-15, 25-18, 24-26, 25-19 the next one in Umbria); Monza, on the other hand, won game-2 (25-20, 23-25, 21-25, 25-19, 15-11) at home and aims to repeat at the Opiquad Arena to bring the series back to Perugia.
Race-4 will be staged on Sunday, April 28, with first serve at 6 p.m. Race-5, if any, would be played instead on Wednesday, May 1, from 5:30 p.m.
