Milan wants to open a new cycle and, therefore, would like to offer Lopetegui a major contract. There are rumors of a deal of as many as three seasons at about four million euros a year. In short, a major investment on a coach who, in his career, boasts the victory of a Europa League (2019/20).

Should the classic white smoke not arrive, Milan would still have viable alternatives to focus on. Conte remains an ever-hot name, albeit one with a significant cost. De Zerbi and Fonseca would also be in the running. However, at this moment, the Diavolo would be focused only on Lopetegui as the new Rossoneri coach.
