Olivier Giroud leaves AC Milan: it is now official
Official: Olivier Giroud è a new Los Angeles FC player
Now è official: AC Milan and Olivier Giroud will part ways at the end of the season. After confirmation by the French striker himself via a message on his Instagram profile, Los Angeles FC made the successful conclusion of the negotiation official through a statement issued on their official accounts.
"L'striker Olivier Giroud will join Los Angeles Football Club on a designated player contract until 2025, with an option until 2026. Giroud will arrive in Los Angeles this summer and occupy a slot on the international roster after receiving his P1 visa and international transfer certificate (ITC). One of the greatest goalscorers of his generation, Giroud's illustrious 18-year professional career has seen him play at the highest levels of European soccer in Italy, England and France. With Montpellier, Arsenal, Chelsea and AC Milan, Giroud has won 11 major trophies and scored nearly 300 goals while collecting more than 700 appearances with the club" This is the note issued by the American club.
"È an incredibly exciting day for all of us at LAFC. We welcome Olivier, his wife Jennifer and his family to the club. Giroud is clearly hungry to win; he has done so at his clubs and in his own international career. His ambition and qualities as a man and as a player are directly approachable with ours as a club. So we think he is a great addition to try to continue winning trophies" this, instead, was the welcoming message from the club’s General Manager John Thorrinton.
