Perfect Friday for Charles Leclerc at Imola

The Imola weekend could not have started better for Charles Leclerc. The Ferrari driver, in fact, finished in first place in both free practice sessions of the Grand Prix dell'Emilia Romagna, in front of millions of fans of the Rossa.

"È it was a positive day – said the Monegasque to the microphones of Sky Sport at the end of the day – Everything è went smoothly and we managed to carry out all the tests that we had planned. For now we seem competitive, although tomorrow the conditions will change, especially because of the wind, and so we have to prepare".

"The upgrades seem to be working as per our expectations, and this è another positive aspect – added the driver of the Maranello stable -. And in addition to all this è wonderful to see so many red flags on the stands". 

On Saturday Leclerc will go in the hunt for the pole position, with qualifying starting at 4 p.m., while on Sunday the race will get underway at 3 p.m.
