Another podium comeback for Marc Marquez

The fatigue that Marc Marquez is doing at the qualifying level è so far largely compensated by the race performance of the'eight time world champion: in Catalonia, the rider of the Ducati number 93 of Team Gresini, after the second place in the Sprint Race, finished third in the Grand Prix, beating Aleix Espargaró and thus giving Ducati the satisfaction of three Desmosedici on the podium, thanks to the first place of Pecco Bagnaia and the second of Jorge Martin.

The key to the comeback, for Marquez, è was the choice of tires: "I mounted the soft even though I knew it would be a risk – he said in the post-race interview at the foot of the podium -. It was this, forò the only solution to attack from the first corners, since I was forced to start soì back on the grid".

"At the beginning I didn't feel like I was going super strong,” added Marquez. “Lap after lap, forò, I managed the tires, overtaking whoever I had in front whenever I found the right opportunity. So I managed to finish third on a very difficult circuit: a little bit sorry for Aleix, because it was his last race here and I am sure he wanted to be on the podium, but races are like that.

Although he has not yet won his first victory in Ducati, Marc Marquez has found a moreù than decent continuityà of results: in fact, he achieved second place in the Spanish GP and in both races (Sprint and Grand Prix) run in Le Mans, before another second place on Saturday in Montmeló and third place today.
