Salernitana says goodbye to Ederson, but remakes defense: the operation
The operation is now closed, three players involved.
Ederson’s future is decided: the Brazilian star of Davide Nicola’s Salernitana will play for Atalanta from next season. The transfer had already been in the air for days, but on Friday the two clubs reached an agreement to close the deal. Decisive was the inclusion of two counterparts who will instead move from Lombardy to Salerno.
Atalanta will pay Ederson about 15 million euros, but will transfer two young defenders to Granata: Matteo Lovato and Caleb Okoli. For the former, class of 2000, the transfer is permanent, while the latter (one year younger) will change clubs on a dry loan. His future, therefore, will still be in Bergamo.
It should be noted that Ederson, in 15 A appearances with Salernitana, scored 2 league goals. The second came right at the Gewiss Stadium in the 1-1 draw against Atalanta.
