Only a week separates Trentino Volleyball from the first official moment of the 2024/25 men’s season. In the afternoon of Thursday, August 1, in fact, the pre-season preparation of the European Champions will start at the Sanbapolis gym in Trento; given the unavailability of the T quotidiano Arena (where the summer maintenance and modernization works continue), it will be the functional facility of the university student residence in via Malpensada in Trento the headquarters of the first part of the gialloblù work.
For that date at coach Fabio Soli’s disposal will be six players from the roster: setter Acquarone, opposite Rychlicki, setter Magalini and the new faces of centerbacks Bartha and Pellacani and libero Pesaresi. Absent with excuses were all the others, engaged with their respective national teams either at the Paris Olympics (Flavio, Kozamernik, Laurenzano, Lavia, Michieletto and Sbertoli) or in collegiate matches (Bristot with Italy Under 20 and Gabi Garcia with the USA).
In the first period, as per tradition, the group will be joined by a substantial number of elements of the junior roster that from October will again play in the Serie B Championship as UniTrento Volleyball.
The technical staff that will assist the Emilian coach from the day of the gathering will be already complete and composed by Assistant Coach Adriano Di Pinto, Scoutman Fabio Dalla Fina and Stefano Coser, Physiotherapist Luca Pirani, Athletic Trainer Lorenzo Barbieri, Team Manager Riccardo Michieletto, Social Physician Mauro Bertoluzza and Nutritionist Alfonso Presutto.
As usual, the half hour preceding the start of training will be reserved for the media for a first informal contact and for interviews at the beginning of the season: the exact time will be communicated in the coming days.
