Alex Rins renews with Yamaha

After the renewal of Fabio Quartararo, Yamaha, a few days before the Silverstone GP, has also announced through an official note the extension of Alex Rins, who has extended his contract with the Iwata-based manufacturer until 2026.

"We are pleased to announce that Alex Rins will continue as an official Yamaha rider for another two years. We have clearly stated that we have a strong desire and intention to return to the top of the MotoGp championship. To achieve this goal, we have already hired new staff, changed our internal and external organizational structures. We have also pledged to expand our presence in 2025 with a second independent Factory Team, and now è time to make sure we have the riders we want to get the results we and they want.

The signing of Alex for two more years è an important part of our plan for the MotoGp project. Rins è not only a very talented and fast rider, but è also a technical expert, a hard worker and a true team player. The collaboration between Alex and Fabio Quartararo dà to Yamaha the certainty of being able to strengthen together the development project of the bike. Now that the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGp rider lineup for 2025-2026 è has been established, we look forward to the next 11 races fully focused on the task at hand" these the words of the Managing Director of the Iwata-based team Lin Jarvis.
