F1, Ferrari towards Monza: Frederic Vasseur sends message to fans
Frederic Vasseur believes in the feat
Formula 1 makes a stop in Monza this weekend for the Italian Grand Prix, a highly anticipated home race for Ferrari and its fans. On the eve of the arrival of the drivers, who will speak Thursday in the usual press conference, Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur described the expectations of the Rossa, also directly addressing the fans of the Cavallino.
"We arrive at Monza in high spirits because of how we were able to perform in the race at Zandvoort,” he said, referring also to the third place taken by Charles Leclerc, “demonstrating how in this Formula 1 a lot of difference is also made by perfect execution, that is, the ability to be able to put all aspects together and make the most of the potential of the package available".
"Monza è a race a sé standout in every respect – he added -: the track è unique in its kind, è remained the only super fast one on the calendar, and this year will be at least partly to be rediscovered since è it has been entirely resurfaced and even the curbs of some corners have been modified".
"But for us,” Vasseur further explained, è è special above all because we know we can count on the support of tens of thousands of our fans who are ready to push us to the maximum and, rightly, demand great results from us. I will always remember my first Italian Grand Prix as a Ferrarista, the shout of joy on Saturday for Carlos’ pole position and the party under the podium on Sunday".
"The goal, mine, the drivers and the whole Scuderia, both the team that goes to the track and the hundreds of people operating from Maranello, è to get back to making the fans jump for joy,” he said clearly, sending a message to the fans.
For this we have prepared scrupulously and will introduce on the SF-24 some updates that we hope will make us take another step forward in terms of competitiveness. We need the support of all our supporters, we will put our heart and soul".
