Moto3, in Misano yet another triumph of David Alonso

After a heart-stopping last lap, CFMoto’s Colombian David Alonso took his eighth victory of the season and twelfth in his career by triumphing in the Grand Prix of’Emilia-Romagna Moto3 class at the Misano Adriatico circuit.

The 18-year-old world leader beat in the sprint, in the’order, by 175 thousandths the Spaniard of Honda Leopard Racing Angel Piqueras, triumphant two weeks ago on the same track, by 367 thousandths the’Dutch Husqvarna Collin Veijer.

Fourth at 467 thousandths is GasGas Spaniard Daniel Holgado, who recovered from the’eleventh box on the grid but è been relegated two positions for exceeding the track limits.

Sixth is Luca Lunetta, on the Honda SIC58 Squadra Corse. In the championship standings, Alonso is increasingly making a gap: Holgado and Veijer, who are second ex-aequo, are a full 82 points behind.
