Rome, the Friedkins shed light

Through a lengthy official statement, published on Roma’s website, Dan and Ryan Friedkin have shed light on the latest decisions at the Giallorossi, from the exoneration of Daniele De Rossi to the acquisition of Everton. ""Football è appreciated globally for its unique beauty,” they began, “Every match è full of passion, excitement and unpredictability, and that is why we love it. But in addition to results on the field, our responsibility as owners of the Club è to make important decisions that we believe are in Roma’s best interest, even when they are extremely difficult".

"The summer buying campaign marked the beginning of a multi-year strategic project designed to take Roma back to the top of European soccer,” the American owners added. “The development of a new stadium, a key element of this vision, è already underway and will pay tribute to the Club"’s rich history.

"We would like to say this: we have a deep respect for Daniele, convinced that he will have a successful career as a technician, and maybe one day he will return to Roma,” Dan and Ryan later emphasize.” Separating from him è was a very difficult decision, but we took it with the conviction that it is the right way to aim for trophies this season".

"We remain active investors in the sports sector. We love beautiful soccer. The possible acquisition of Everton in no way changes our commitment to Roma. On the contrary, the synergy between the clubs will only benefit Roma. Each club in our portfolio operates independently, and Roma remains at the center of our football ambitions. You can rest assured, our commitment in terms of time, resources and energy toward Roma will not be reduced. Our goal è is clear: to see Roma consistently compete at the highest levels of European football".

"To you, extraordinary fans: we recognize the great responsibility entrusted to us in leading this historic Club. Your continued loyalty è is our strength as we continue to work for the future. We value your opinions and want to assure you that we listen to them. You are the’soul of the company, and our goal è to make you proud" concluded the Friedkins.
