Red Bull, Christian Horner sees light at the end of the tunnel
The last few months have been very complicated for Red Bull, which has had to deal with several technical problems that have compromised the competitiveness of its drivers. The Austrian team’s decline, in addition, has allowed McLaren to reopen both championships. After finishing second in the Singapore GP, team principal Christian Horner è expressed confidence ahead of the season finale.
"I think we have figured out some of the problems with the car and I think we are starting to solve them. We did better in Baku and we did even better here. The most encouraging thing è that the car reacted as we hoped and as the simulations told us" began the British team principal.
"I think the team is starting to understand where our limits are. In Monza we hit the lowest point, and that allowed us to understand the main causes of our problems. Since the Italian GP we have restarted and now we will try to use this break to work and regain competitiveness" ahead of the season finale" added the Red Bull manager.
"McLaren is getting very good results and lots of points with both drivers, so we need to make sure that Checo is as far ahead as possible if we want to make up ground in the Constructors’ World Championship" Christian Horner concluded.
