Flavio Cobolli's adventure at the Beijing ATP 500 continues. The young Italian tennis player, in fact, è imposed himself with a great show of strength over Russian Pavel Kotov with the score of 6-4 6-2, detaching the pass for the quarterfinals of the tournament.

The first set was decided between the fourth and fifth games, as the blue first managed to cancel a break ball, while in the next game he placed the break thanks to his greater incisiveness in response. From that moment Kotov has no chance to reply and the 2002 class closes the partial 6-4.

In the second set, the Tuscan tennis player gained even more confidence by snatching service from the Russian in the opening game. Cobolli managed the lead well and in the seventh game placed the knockout blow by once again stealing the serve from his opponent, then closing the match on 6-2.

In the quarterfinals, Flavio will face the winner of the match between Daniil Medvedev and Adrian Mannarino.
