Cantù wins on comeback after horror start, Brienza also toasts in the end

L’Acqua S.Bernardo Cantù wins in a comeback on the parquet of Verona and the coach of the Brianza team, Nicola Brienza, analyzes a very peculiar competition: "It was two games in one. In the first there’è was an excellent Verona, which played at a very high intensity and objectively put us in great difficulty. Add to that the fact that we probably thought we were on a premium vacation at Vinitaly, or something like that. But I still reiterate their great merits".

" We were especially good at the end of the first half in recreating an acceptable gap, coming back down by 11. È that was crucial, because that and the break at the beginning of the third quarter created the conditions for us to think about turning it over. In the second half we turned up the engine considerably and to do everything that è in the first half we were not getting, starting with rebounds and loose balls".

Clearly, to think of winning in Verona with that kind of attitude was unthinkable and in fact we rightly went down by 20".
