J.T. Poston in sprint at Shriners Children’s Open

J.T. Poston claimed his third PGA Tour victory at the Shriners Children's Open, prevailing over Doug Ghim by one stroke. Poston avoided a playoff thanks to a decisive putt for par on the last hole. At TPC Summerlin, he finished the tournament with a score of 67 (-4) in the final round, scoring a -22 overall, thus overtaking; Ghim who finished at -21 after a round of 65.

The 31-year-old Poston è returned to compete in Las Vegas after a hiatus that lasted since the BMW Championship in August, having not scored a top 10 since the RBC Heritage in April. During this time he è devoted himself to his family, having recently become a father.

"It has been a wonderful few weeks at home after the Playoffs. This victory represents a new perspective on both my game and my life," commented Poston.

Francesco Molinari finished the tournament with a total score of -3 (66 ,70, 75, 70), placing him 59th in the standings.
