Juventus can breathe a sigh of relief for Douglas Luiz. The Brazilian midfielder, in fact, after the muscle problem suffered in the warm-up of the challenge with Stuttgart in the Champions League, has carried out instrumental examinations that have shown no injuries.
This was announced by the Juventus club itself through an official note: "The diagnostic examinations to which "Douglas Luiz underwent this morning at J|medical, following the muscle discomfort in the left thigh reported yesterday, have ruled out injuries. His condition will be monitored daily".
The former Aston Villa man, however, is still expected to miss the derby d'Italia with Inter, scheduled for Sunday evening at 6 p.m. at the San Siro. Coach Thiago Motta hopes to recover at least Teun Koopmeiners, back from a rib fracture, for the challenge against the Nerazzurri.
