Losing and episodes do not make the coach lose his aplomb.

Cagliari defeated by Udinese and forced into ten men already from the half-hour because of the double yellow against Antoine Makoumbou, but Davide Nicola does not make dramas. The Rossoblù coach, however, in the aftermath of the Friuli match admits that there's regret and that the next few days will be devoted to analyzing what went wrong.

"I would have liked to see what could have happened if we had finished the match in numerical parity,” Nicola admitted to 'Sky Sport'. We knew we would face a tough team both from a technical and physical point of view, like Udinese. But we complicated it for ourselves. Too bad, especially becauseé the boys gave everything".

"Until the expulsion we had shown ourselves capable and disciplined. From then on things became more difficult, making us expend more energy. I have not yet reviewed the dynamics of Udinese's first goal and we expected them to change the game on the rebound, that è for sure. There'è been a bit of a mess, it happens", Nicola added.

So the Cagliari coach's reprimand to Makoumbou. "He is not è a fool, è perfectly aware that he mishandled the situation that led to the second yellow card,” Nicola stressed.

This will force us to do some reflection and evaluation. It often happens in soccer that one is cautioned in phases of the match when it is not è prudent to change something. He mishandled that situation, we will work on it".
