MotoGP Thailand: Bagnaia on pole ahead of Bastianini, Martin down
Pecco Bagnaia took pole position in the MotoGP Thai Grand Prix, hitting a time of 1:28.700. The Ducati rider sent a message to rival Jorge Martin by finishing with a record-breaking time ahead of teammate Enea Bastianini, second just over two tenths.
Martin, who slipped on the ground without consequences during his second attempt, scatterà from the third box at 4 tenths of a gap from the world champion.
On the second row are Ducati VR46’s Marco Bezzecchi, Marc Marquez (Ducati Gresini), who crashed while looking for Martin’s slipstream, and a reborn Fabio Quartararo, sixth on a Yamaha. Also in the 10 were Pedro Acosta, Fabio Di Giannantonio, Alex Marquz and Maverick Viñales. Franco Morbidelli è only 11th, Luca Marini with the Honda è 21st.
