WTA Guangzhou: Caroline Dolehide-Lucia Bronzetti 6-3 3-6 7-6

It ends on the most beautiful the adventure of Lucia Bronzetti at the WTA 250 in Guangzhou. The Italian tennis player, in fact, è was defeated by the American Caroline Dolehide with the score of 6-3 3-6 7-6, after a marathon of more than three hours of play.

In the first set è the American tennis player got off to a rocket start with a five-games-to-one lead in the first six games. The Italian had the slightest reaction of pride, but the 1998-class rival è skillfully managed the large lead and closed the partial set 6-3.

The second set è a real break fair, as the players collectively lost their turn at bat five times. Giving the decisive break, this time, è Bronzetti, who in the closing stages finds three consecutive games, winning the second partial 6-3.

The third and decisive set è a real seesaw of emotions: starting better è the American, who immediately flew to 5-2. The reaction of the Rimini native, however, was not long in coming and thanks to four consecutive games she earned the right to serve for the match. Dolehide, with her back against the wall, made no mistake and placed the immediate counter-break. The decisive tie-break finally smiles on the American, who wins 11-9, after nullifying three match points for Bronzetti at 6-3.

The final of the Guangzhou WTA 250 will be between Caroline Dolehide and Olga Danilovic.
