Jannik Sinner does not believe he will ever be like Carlos Alcaraz
Sinner’s words
Jannik Sinner, on the eve of his debut in the Paris Bercy Masters 1000, gave a lengthy interview to La Stampa in which he talked about the rivalry with Carlos Alcaraz.
"We are two very different players. I keep the pace very high, I am strong mentally. He è physically and tennis-wise at the moment he has a little bit more; he plays better slice, volée. But for me è a positive fact: it means I have margins".
"Carlos on the court does the numbers: bunt, passer, lob…. I donò t know if Iò ll ever be like that. Forò as a tennis player I am more solid and when needed I place the&39;winning acceleration", the Sinner's analysis.
"Success has not changed me, I am still the same. I don't walk tall if I win, I don't get depressed if I lose. I don’t like to be in the spotlight. I don’t put on an attitude. Those close to me know how much time I devote to tennis. Then either they like you or they don’t, you can’tò control everything. I look after those close to me, the family, the rest I care little", he concluded.
