Alessandro Fusco thinks only of Argentina

The Italian men’s national rugby team is preparing in Rome for the Vittoria Assicurazioni Autumn Nations Series. The Azzurri will face Argentina, Georgia and New Zealand with live coverage of Italy matches scheduled on Sky Sport and free-to-air on TV8.

Morning work between gym and field with the group divided by departments. In the early afternoon – for the first time full – the technical staff led by Gonzalo Quesada directed the collective training on Field 1 inside the CPO Giulio Onesti, Italy’s headquarters in the first part of the gathering towards the autumn test matches.

"I am very happy to be back here. I feel good – said Alessandro Fusco at the press conference – and I am ready to put myself on the national team again. Last season è was complicated and I was not able to be consistent. I found an even more united and cohesive group".

"We reason game by game. Now our focus è on’Argentina. I’ll work hard first of all to be of help to the group. Clearly, like everyone, I hope to play as much as possible. There’è a very good relationship also with the Argentine players summoned who play with Zebre. We have been in touch with Gonzalo Garcia and we will try to say hello before the game" commented the Azzurri scrum-half.
