Luca Banchi’s words on the eve of Real Madrid

After the first defeat in LBA against Pallacanestro Varese, Virtus Bologna returns to the Euroleague court against Real Madrid, a match valid for the ninth day. Two-a-side ball Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 8:45 p.m. at the WiZink Center in Madrid.

Coach Luca Banchi presented the challenge with the Spaniards in a press conference: "The match against Real Madrid always has a special charm, having to face a team capable, in the last three years, of hitting as many Euroleague finals. Despite initial difficulties, mainly the result of injuries, they have a top-level home performance that makes them still undefeated".

"This will oblige usà to be able to compete against an opponent of such blazon. We will try to prepare carefully to be able to stem their main sources of play and make the most of transition play and ball circulation" concluded the coach of the bianconeri.

"Real Madrid è a team built to compete at a high level in the Euroleague, with experienced players and who know each other very well – added Alessandro Pajola -. We will have to face the game with attention and concentration until the end".
