Red Bull, Helmut Marko demolishes Sergio Perez
New attack by Helmut Marko on Sergio Perez: the Red Bull executive sent a venomous dig at the Mexican driver, who despite a bad season could be confirmed even in 2025 thanks to his country’s sponsors. Marko blamed Perez for the missed title in the Constructors’ World Championship.
"With our performance today, we have absolutely no chanceà of finishing second, let alone first place. But really; this has been clear to us for a long time, if you look at the points obtained by Perez compared to Max you can see where we are lacking", are the words to Motorsport Total.
Red Bull è now all focused on winning the Drivers World Championship with Max Verstappen: the Dutchman could hit his fourth title already in Las Vegas.
Sergio Perez è’s ordeal, on the other hand, is evident: after four podiums won in the first five races, the Mexican’s performance è collapsed. Perez in the last 14 Grands Prix has è never managed to go beyond sixth place in the Dutch GP, and è finished 17th in his home race in Mexico City.
