Inter show at the Olimpico, Lazio overwhelmed

It's without history the big match between Lazio and Inter that closes the 16th day of Serie A. At the Stadio Olimpico, in fact, Simone Inzaghi's Nerazzurri won with an authentic show of strength over the Biancocelesti hosts with a peremptory 0-6.
The first scoring chance è for Inter on 9’: Thuram found Dumfries at the second post, whose header missed the goal from an excellent position. The Biancocelesti’s answer came on 22’ with Noslin, who volleyed without finding the goal.
On 41’ comes the Nerazzurri advantage: the Var awards a penalty kick to the guests for a hand foul by Gigot. From the penalty spot Calhanoglu does not miss and beats Provedel. Four minutes later, Inzaghi’s men immediately found the double with Dimarco, who, from first, slipped the Biancocelesti goalkeeper on a beautiful assist from Dumfries.
At the beginning of the second half, Inter found the way to the goal twice more first with Barella at 51’ and then with Dumfries at 53’. After the round of substitutions, there’è also room for the fifth goal of the meneghini: at 77’ Carlos Augusto steals the ball in midfield and serves Dimarco, who è is good at closing the one-two with his teammate, who anticipates Marusic and beats Provedel again.
Finally, in the midst of the recovery, the deficit becomes even heavier for Lazio, as Thuram scores the sixth goal on an assist from Mhkitaryan.
Thanks to this success, the Nerazzurri, with one game less, reach 34 points in the standings, getting closer again to Napoli and Atalanta. The biancocelesti, on the other hand, remain stationary at 31, failing to take advantage of the braking of Fiorentina and Juventus.
