Reggiana basketball mourns Sandro Crovetti
Goodbye to Sandro Crovetti
Through a note, Pallacanestro Reggiana grieves with the Crovetti family on the passing of Sandro, a historic white-and-red executive and of the entire Italian basketball movement.
"Born in Reggio Emilia on Dec. 25, 1958,” it says, “after becoming a publicist journalist in 1981, Crovetti worked for Pallacanestro Reggiana from 1984 to 1987 as press office and marketing manager".
"Thereafter, his career è continued in Legabasket, where he è remained for 12 years until 1999, and then held the role of manager in several Serie A and A2 clubs such as Napoli, Ferrara, San Severo, Montegranaro and Virtus Bologna".
"In 2009 he had been awarded the Reverberi Prize for his contribution to Italian basketball. Pallacanestro Reggiana expresses its most heartfelt condolences to the family and his loved ones" closes the statement of the biancorossa company.
