Kimi Antonelli dreams big: "Soon at the level of Rossi and Sinner"

One of the undisputed stars of this start of the Formula 1 World Championship season is Andrea Kimi Antonelli. In the’last GP at Suzuka, the 18-year-old from Bologna became the youngest driver ever to drive a Formula 1 Grand Prix.
“It was a good weekend – admitted the Mercedes driver in an’interview granted to Sky Sports -. Difficult at the beginning, especially in free practice, because I had a hard time getting familiar with the car and the track”.
“In qualifying I was able to make a good step forward in terms of driving – he added – and then the race was a consequence… doing many laps in a row, I was able to get more and more confident with the car”.
The youngest F1 rookie dreams big: “To one day become like Jannik Sinner or Valentino Rossi? That’s the goal and I hope to get to that level as soon as possible. The road is still long and not easy but that is definitely the’goal”.
Closing on the next GP, in Bahrain: “I have already driven there also with a Formula 1 car, I have more knowledge in general and definitely we can do better, especially in qualifying. But I don”t expect to get there and take pole position, because the others will also be going very strong”.
