MotoGP, Italian GP: Marc Marquez dominates Sprint, 3rd Bagnaia

Marc Marquez confirmed himself as the mattatore of the Sprint Race, taking his eighth win at the Grand Prix d’Italia out of the nine Saturday races held so far. After taking pole position in the morning, the Ducati centaur crowned a perfect day at Mugello.

Ranked behind him are two other Ducatis: the Gresini one of his brother Alex Marquez and that of the Cabroncito’s teammate: Pecco Bagnaia, who breaks a streak of five consecutive victories at Mugello (3 GP and 2 Sprint Race).

Maverick Viñales’ KTM and Fabio Di Giannantonio’s Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team Ducati complete the top 5. Also in the points are Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia), Franco Morbidelli (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team) , Raul Fernandez (Aprilia Trackhouse) and Fermin Aldeguer (Gresini Racing).
