Rome, Mile Svilar reinova until 2030

Mile Svilar and Roma will continue together until 2030. The announcement is not yet official from the club, but it was the Serbian goalkeeper himself who “confirmed” the renewal through an emblematic post published on his Instagram profile: “Unique emotions… only Romanisti understand. Forza Roma.” Words that leave no room for doubt and confirm his desire to stay in the capital for a long time.
The new contract, which will be signed, most likely, on Friday, July 11, will bind the 1999 class to Roma for another five seasons. This is a major commitment by the Giallorossi club, which has decided to bet firmly on its number one, also adjusting the salary: Svilar will receive 4 million net from the Giallorossi.
Reduced from an extraordinary season, Svilar was one of the absolute stars of Roma 2024/25. He played an impressive 51 games between Serie A, Europa League and Coppa Italia, collecting 16 clean sheets in the league out of 35 appearances. A figure that earned him the title of best goalkeeper in Serie A, shared with Napoli’s Meret.
The negotiations for the renewal had been ongoing for months, but in the last few weeks the white smoke was reached. Roma has thus armored one of its most valuable elements, warding off market sirens and ensuring continuity between the posts.
Who arrived in Trigoria in June 2022, Svilar has managed in a short time to win the trust of the fans and the management, becoming a pillar of the team.
