MotoGp, Marc Marquez sends clear message to rivals
Honda centaur Marc Marquez: “In Motegi for the first time since 2020 I pushed on the last lap…”
Marc Marquez sees his return to 100% getting closer and closer: in the press conference on the eve of the three-day Buriram race, the Honda centaur was clear. “Since 2020 in Jerez I have never been able to attack on the last lap because I felt pain and lost concentration. In Motegi for the first time since 2020 I was able to push on the last lap. Of course with less force than before, but it is already a step forward.”
The Catalan rider is aiming for the podium in Thailand: “The last weekend was very positive for me and for Honda, this has brought serenity in the box, we have done kilometers in the race and now I can’t wait to start again here in Buriram. During this week I spent more time recovering, I needed to recover, but now I feel better and I’m ready to get back on the bike.”
The weather unknown: “The forecast looks unsettled for this weekend, but when it rains everything hangs in the balance, we are keeping a low profile for this Grand Prix regardless.”
