Ferrari, surprise announcement on Frederic Vasseur’s future

Surprise announcement for Frederic Vasseur, who after weeks of rumors about a possible dismissal has renewed with Ferrari and will still be the team principal of the Scuderia di Maranello for an unspecified number of years.

“Scuderia Ferrari HP is pleased to announce the’extension, with a multi-year contract, of the agreement with Frederic Vasseur, who will continue in the role of Team Principal for the coming Formula 1” seasons.

“Fred joined the Scuderia at’the beginning of 2023, bringing with him extensive experience in motorsport and a proven ability to develop talent and build competitive teams at all levels of motorsport–it goes on to say.

Since then, he has laid a solid foundation with the’ambition of bringing Ferrari back to the top of Formula 1.
