Milan almost in double figures: overwhelmed Perth Glory, 17-year-old Comotto also scores

A.C. Milan overwhelmed Perth Glory 9-0 in the last friendly of Massimiliano Allegri’s team’s preseason tour. Leaving aside the caliber of the opponent, the Diavolo gave the impression of a united team with a clear idea of the game under its new coach, delivering a good performance.
The Rossoneri’s celebration opened with Terracciano’s goal after just three minutes, then Okafor went wild with a brace and Chukwueze, there was also glory for 17-year-old Christian Comotto on a penalty kick, scored with a dig.
In the second half, Rafael Leao was on the field, immediately punching in a brace; newly acquired Ricci and Musah were also in goal. Unlike the other friendlies, Allegri tried a 4-3-3, using Leao as a center forward.
Applause for youngsters Jimenez and Comotto, authors of a good test, while Estupiñan, still settling in, remained a bit in the shade. Now the return to Italy: training resumes at Milanello from Monday. The next friendly is scheduled against Leeds on August 9.
