Ducati, Pecco Bagnaia blurts out: "I feel respect, the rest is garbage"

The Ducati centaur Pecco Bagnaia in a conference ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix threw water on the fire after the controversy with the team last week in Austria: “I am a transparent person, I always have been. My mistake is always saying what I think. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes less so. Sometimes when you finish a disastrous weekend and a disastrous race, you go straight to talking to journalists and that”s not a great idea.
Relationships with the team remain good: “Actually there has never been any problem with the team, it is always much more what is said outside. Because it’s cool to talk about things you don’t know anything about”.
On his future: “I feel the respect from the people I need. From Ducati, from journalists, from TV. The rest is just garbage to me. I honestly don’t know anything about the future. I don’t think about it yet. If I can I will stay here, otherwise I will go elsewhere. But the priority is to win again with my bike and my team. I have never thought about changing and I don’t think anyone has thought about it yet”.
The difficulties with the bike: “I have difficulty stopping the bike and managing the rear tire, which are two things I have always been very good at. So we just have to figure out why”
