The challenge between Udinese and Hellas Verona opened Monday’s Serie A, with a first day that did not lack excitement and even a few twists and turns, above all the coup de grâce of Davide Nicola’s Cremonese on the pitch of Massimiliano Allegri’s Milan encore.

After a not particularly exciting first half, the Triveneto derby lit up in the second half: after the crossbar hit by Giovane, a Brazilian former Corinthians player in Zanetti’s team, the Bianconeri took the lead with a header by Kristensen.

Runjaic’s men came close to doubling the lead (crossbar by newcomer Zarraga) but then conceded the equalizing goal through Serdar, who was set up by Giovane and was on time to give Sava no chance.

A new crossbar by the Friulians, hit by Kamara, served by Bayo’s backheel, made the Bluenergy Arena fibrillate but the result never changed again: 1-1.
