A new obstacle between Andrea Belotti and Sampdoria

The future of Andrea Belotti, who returned to Como after his loan at Benfica, where he also got to play his first matches in the Champions League, continues to hold sway.
But he does not fit into the plans of the Lariani’s Spanish coach, former Red Furies, Barcelona and Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas.
The experienced striker from Bergamo has seen his name linked with Sampdoria, which did not start its cadet tournament on the right foot (it was defeated 0-2 at home with former Andrea Sottil’s Modena) after having avoided relegation to Serie C in extremis last season, benefiting from a penalty imposed on Brescia.

Now, however, there is a new obstacle between the Blucerchiati and the former Torino man: in England, Watford, which now plays in the Championship, England’s second tier, but aspires to return to the Premier League, is reportedly moving for him.
The biggest obstacle, however, is another: Belotti receives a salary close to 2.7 million euros per season, a figure out of reach for Sampdoria. The idea, in Genoa, is a loan deal, with the Lombard club willing to cover part of the salary. Parma, meanwhile, has definitely called it quits.
