Genoa, eyes on Bundesliga for an outside attacker
The Grifone keeps its eyes on the Bundesliga
Genoa’s management continues to be very active ahead of the January market.
Despite the fact that the Rossoblù club is performing well in Serie B, where it occupies fourth place in the standings after seven matches, its managers do not seem intent on stopping and are continuing to sound out the free agents market and beyond to give more reinforcements to coach Alexander Blessin after the break for the World Cup in Qatar.
These reinforcements could concern not just one department: in fact, the names made range from defense to attack. The latest suggestion comes from the Bundesliga: it is about Bochum’s outside forward, former Stuttgart and Partizan Belgrade among others, Takuma Asano.
The Japanese is a class of 1994, is in his second year with the Bochum shirt, and his contract expires in June 2024.
Genoa might be able to snatch the outside forward from the German club for a fee that would be around 2.5 million euros.
