Andrea Bargnani puts the'NBA in his sights

On Monday afternoon Sportal.it was present at the Belvedere Hall of Palazzo Lombardia in Milan at the presentation of the 2025 Supercoppa Frecciarossa. Andrea Bargnani, Ambassador of the competition, put the’NBA in his sights.

“I am very happy to represent the League on this occasion, I believe very much in the fact that Italy needs great sporting events. I am happy to help grow the movement. Having lived for ten years in the United States and having worked in the number one league in the world that is the NBA, I have seen how things are done. In Europe we should take an example from them to try to get to their levels”.

Hard to make predictions right now: “We are still at the’beginning of the season, making predictions about the Supercup is very complicated. I think Milan, also because of the passing of Giorgio Armani, will feel a’special importance”.

Bargnani then continued: “The level of the league is getting higher and higher, the seasons are getting more and more unpredictable, and we saw it last year as well: the Brescia-Bologna final hardly anyone expected it at the beginning of the season. This is good of course”.
