Antonio Faravelli and his wines juggle artists, designers and trendsetters

Fashion and art meet at Milan Fashion Week 2025: until September 28, in Via Maroncelli 9, the spaces of Chicchimavie (by Cristina Trombetti) and Snob Art Gallery (by Paola Sommariva) host an event that combines art-house tailoring, contemporary art and vintage atmospheres. A journey that weaves together different eras and styles, creating an aesthetic suspended between memory and innovation.
The artistic direction is curated by Sara Digiovanni, artist and stylist, joined by international trendsetter Flaviano Brutto. The installation stages a visual dialogue between clothes-works of art, paintings and vintage pieces. Prominent among them are authentic dresses from the 1930s that belonged to Emma Alghisi, cousin of Pope Paul VI.
Particularly striking are the paintings made by Digiovanni, which are transformed into clothes: art takes shape and becomes fashion to wear.
During the Sept. 23 opening, in the presence of Antonio Faravelli, the protagonist was the Spumante Golf and Wine 1895 from Cantine Vitea, of which the winegrower-golfer is the owner, produced with Pinot Nero grapes from Oltrepò Pavese, the same wine appreciated in his time by Giacomo Puccini.
In the course of the evening, Annamaria Gandolfi, Councillor of Equality of the Lombardy Region, and writer Patrizia Varnier spoke.
