Inter, Cristian Chivu: "Proud of these guys"

Inter coach Cristian Chivu is proud of his team after the victory against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico. Here are his words.

“It’s all thanks to these guys who have stepped into the reality of this league, left behind the disappointments of last season and are proving they can compete in all competitions”.

“I am proud of how they prepare themselves mentally and how they understand the moments of a game, they find the right humility– he added -They do this despite everyday difficulties because this game comes after the break and is always an’unknown”.

“We came from two trainings done all together, it was not easy to face this Roma and it will not be easy for anyone. As long as we had energy we played a very good game, then we dropped slightly physically. But even then we were good at suffering and defending to then try to restart”.
