Davis Cup: for the Gazette, the Italians 'are not with Jannik Sinner'

Another storm on social media over Jannik Sinner’s no to Davis Cup. This time raising the fuss is a survey reported on the front page of the Gazzetta dello Sport, which headlined: “Davis, Italians are not with Sinner”. The research commissioned from SWG questioned 800 Italians over the age of 18 on the issue.

According to the survey, the South Tyrolean’s choice to say no to the summoning of Filippo Volandri is ‘understandable and justifiable’ for 37% of respondents, while it is ‘understandable and not justifiable’ for 42%, and ‘not understandable and not justifiable’ for 21%.
