The most important issue in Italian soccer these days is the replacement of Igor Tudor, who is no longer the coach of Juventus. All indications are that Luciano Spalletti will be given the job, and Fabio Capello, a longtime Sky Sport pundit, had his say on the broadcaster’s microphones.

“Spalletti is a coach who has sadness and anger inside for what he failed to get in the national team from his own players – he said.

To me he confessed that he was wrong. Now he has the chance to coach Juventus, I hope with an approach more like the one he had in his experience in Naples than in his experience as technical commissioner. By rediscovering that’humility that perhaps he had lost”

“Juventus’ position in the standings is not bad – added the former footballer as well as helmsman of the Bianconeri -: so far few matches have been played. There’s a chance to work on the players and field a team with balance, one that can both defend well and create scoring chances. This has been so far the most important handicap of this Juventus”.

On Tuesday morning Spalletti was in Milan for publicity matters but, speaking to the media present at the event, he was as expected very vague about the situation.
