Adriano Panatta doesn’t contain himself after Jannik Sinner’s triumph: "He didn’t do these things before…"

Adriano Panatta commented on Jannik Sinner’s triumph at the Paris Masters 1000. Thanks to his success in the final against Felix Auger-Aliassime, the South Tyrolean champion returned number at the top of the ATP ranking even though he will only be there for a week.
“He did his homework because he was clearly favored after Alcaraz– ex-blue tennis player exited to ‘La Nuova Domenica Sportiva’ -Now he is back number one even if it will last only a short time, because of a diabolical system that I did not understand and do not agree with’very much”.
“Sinner is experimenting with so many things, he keeps learning every time – added Panatta -. Jannik has been playing well, not that he didn’t make short balls or anything before, now he does it much more. He also serves better, even the attitude on the court seems more relaxed, he has the awareness of his strength, he can joke with Cahill, for example, which he didn”.
“The rift with the Australian coach? I don’t think it was that serious, he has become almost unbeatable now. Alcaraz can run into a bad day and lose, to Jannik in the first or second round it never happens. Either he loses in the final or he gets hurt, Carlos so he has to be careful: either he is always focused or he doesn”t beat him anymore.
“I hope for a final between them” Panatta concludes ahead of the last major event of the season, namely the ATP Finals, scheduled from November 9 to 16 on the indoor concrete of the Inalpi Arena in Turin.
