In Hong Kong, Tom McKibbin does the deed.

“It was incredible, I played the best golf of my career”. Tom McKibbin’s words were very clear at the end of the fourth round of the Link Hong Kong Open, a tournament in the International Series. The Northern Irishman, after all, was the author of a real feat, all the more so because he achieved his first victory since 2023.
McKibbin started the tournament with a bang, making an extraordinary 60 in the first round, then made two consecutive 65s and managed to hold on to first place, despite an onslaught led by MJ Maguire, who came within a single stroke of the lead but was crushed by an effective 63 in the last round.
The 22-year-old Briton, who by the way recorded the best total score in the tournament’s history (-27), also earned a place for the upcoming Masters and British Open.
