Naples, training without Antonio Conte: "Long-planned absence"

Napoli resumed preparation today after the break due to the’interruption of the championship for national team matches. Antonio Conte was not present at Castel Volturno.
The club clarified that the coach’s absence “had been planned and agreed for some time with the club”. Napoli also makes it known that Conte will return to Castel Volturno next Monday to lead training.
The Neapolitan club thus further dispels doubts about a possible farewell of the coach to the bench of the Italian champions.
