MotoGP Valencia: Alex Marquez triumphs, Bezzecchi makes a mistake at the start. Bagnaia nightmare

Alex Marquez won the Valencia Grand Prix Sprint Race, the last mini-race of the 2025 MotoGP World Championship. The Ducati Gresini team centaur was ahead of KTM rider Pedro Acosta and Fabio Di Giannantonio, of the Ducati VR46 team.
Decisive were the early stages of the race: poleman Marco Bezzecchi got it all wrong on the first lap, slipping to sixth position, while Marquez immediately took the lead after the first corner and set a strong pace going on to win solo.
Under the podium came the two Aprilias of Raul Fernandez and Marco Bezzecchi, sixth the other Ducati of Valentino Rossi’s team, led by Franco Morbidelli. Another Sprint race to forget for Pecco Bagnaia, who started from 16th place and managed to recover just two positions, finishing in an anonymous 14th place.
